Poor sound quality on Debian (settled)

Did you ever meet the same problem? When playing music or cds, there is a backgroud noise and the sound quality is quite bad.

Set your PCM to about 80% rather than 100%

Pulse code modulation (PCM) is a standard method of encoding analog audio signals in digital form.

So it seems that debian is not dealing well with sound encoding and decoding currently.
